Richard’s All-Level Classes run at various times during the week.
The All-Level Classes with Richard can be done over a prepaid 6 x 3 hour class period for $499.00 inc GST, during the week, evenings or on Saturdays. This price also includes a copy of Richard’s book. Richard takes students who range from beginners to advanced, some of whom have been with him for over 20 years.
It is not necessary to do the Sunday beginner’s class with Adam before joining Richard’s classes. These classes enable students to nominate their own project right from the start and to work at their own pace. Richard takes them through their chosen project from the design stage, right through to the finished piece, teaching techniques as required, whether using hand tools, power tools or machines.
Payment is required in advance for 6 weeks, and a student can start as soon as a vacancy opens up in his/her preferred time slot.

The First Volume of the Short Course Series:
Lesson 1: ‘Dressed All Round’ – 36min:16sec
With the advent of technology, dressing timber has become a lost art. Turning a rough sawn piece of timber into something smooth and square is more difficult than it looks. The art of dressing timber, as well as the use of several hand tools, is demonstrated in Richard’s first class.
Lesson 2: ‘Halving Joint’ – 30min:08sec
This lesson focuses on producing the perfect halving joint using the dressed piece from Lesson 1. Richard also introduces more tools to the viewer.
